Engagement Session at Sunglow Fishing Pier Daytona Beach.
An Engagement Session at Sunglow Fishing Pier in Daytona Beach for Rachel and Jordan. The Sunglow Fishing pier place is a must see location! The pier is home to the Crabby Joe’s restaurant as well. You can find an array of tourists hanging out at the pier as well as locals catching fish or getting a bite to eat. I had so much fun photographing Rachel and Jordan for their engagement session. Rachel and Jordan are full of life and fiery love! I found that we had a lot in common and we spent so much time talking during our session too! It was cool to know that I share the same birthday with Rachel, which are on Christmas day! Jordan is a fellow military veteran like myself. When Jordan told me about how him and Rachel met at a party, he saw her and had to know who this woman was, it made me teary eyed! The feelings they have for each other are other worldly.
These sessions are all about connecting.
They had originally planned on doing their session at the Sugar Mill Gardens but the park was closed by the time we got there. The three of us ended up heading over to the Sunglow Fishing Pier and wow! Every evening when the sun is setting, the pier lights up with this amazing glow. The sunglow fishing pier is a small tight fit working around the tourists and locals but there is something exciting about the chaos and crowd all around. Some of the photos where taken on the beach below the pier, which as you can see came out perfect. Rachel and Jordan were such good sports about the change of plans. I love sessions like this when we get to talk and get to know each other. That is the whole reason I include the complimentary engagement session. The engagement sessions are for us to get to know each other better. This really makes a world of a difference when you have a great connection with your photographer. The sessions also creates a comfort for couples behind the lens. I can’t wait for their wedding in November! A huge congrats to Rachel and Jordan.
